Ice Skating Downtown

There is something very cool about an ice skating rink in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. I loved the views of the large buildings behind the ice rink.

About a month ago I was called into the Young Womens Presidency. I was excited to have something to do since I had been released from Primary a couple months earlier. For our activity this week we went to downtown Los Angeles to take the girls ice skating. In Utah I would never have wanted to go ice skating outside in the winter, but in the warm(ish) Southern California weather, it isn't too bad. The girls had a lot of fun and we had a lot of fun watching them. Drinking hot cocoa afterwards made it the perfect night. There was even another Young Women/Men group there. I guess ice skating must be the Mormon thing to do. (the other group had krispy kreme doughnuts, which made us all very jealous. And no, they didn't share.)

Fun! Matt was in LA on business last week, and was telling me how developed that downtown center is now. It sounded really cool!
