Halloween 2008

Happy Halloween! I know it's late, but I've been busy.

This year the coaches decided to dress up as the Gilligan's Island crew. We had exactly the right number of coaches to make it work. Unfortunately, that morning we found out one of the coaches couldn't make it to the party. Even more unfortunatley ... he was Gilligan. I quickly called Andrew and asked if he could hurry home from work to fill in. He saved the day and made a perfect Gilligan.

Here we are:

I think it turned out pretty well. Here's a picture of the original crew:

Andrew and me. I think we make a cute couple:
After the swim team party we went over to our ward trunk-or-treat. I love seeing all of the primary kids dressed up in their cute halloween costumes. Even though we actually could have used a trunk this year, we opted to still use the back of the truck. I think it makes the perfect place to sit on the back of the truck and pass out candy. (We decided not to stay in our costumes!)

We were parked next to our friends, Dave and Brittany Eckersley. I think they won the award for the best decorations ... although we did have to listen to "Thriller" all night long. The best was going out for ice cream afterwards with Brittany's hair just like that!
We also had the youngest trick-or-treater stop by. He was very excited, if you can't tell!
It was a fun Halloween. I can't wait for next year!

Perfect Gilligan buddy. Not a bad Mary Anne either.
