He has had a lot of opportunities to speak about his incredible relay performance, and I think I have watched all of his tv appearances, but it was much more exciting to hear him speak about it in person. It was also fun to listen to all of the questions that the swimmers had for him. (except for the annoying people that kept asking questions about Michael Phelps ... I don't care what kind of toothpaste he uses ...) The kids were funny and asked him if he liked the food in China and if it was anything like Panda Express.
Even though I try to act cool, I still get excited and wanted to get my picture taken with him too. Here I am with one of the other coaches, Amber.
He also let me hold and even wear his gold medal. It was heavier than I thought. Isn't it beautiful?

If you were living in a cave over the summer and didn't get a chance to see the incredible relay, here is a clip I found on You Tube.
Here is the whole relay:
And here is a clip of just the highlights:
I have seen it a million times, but I still get chills everytime I watch it. It truly was the most incredible performance at the Olympics! Phelps would not have been able to win all of his Gold Medals if Jason hadn't had the race of his life!

I can't believe you got to touch and wear his gold medal!! That is SO cool. Seriously like a once in a lifetime opportunity that most people will never have. Again, I'm jealous!
