Uhh... we score a lot of points...

So the Utes played two more games. I apologize to my many dedicated readers (Joe, Tom and my Red Aunt) for my lack of reviews, given the superior play of the Utes in that span.


Let's get to it:

Iowa State:

This game was pretty amazing to watch. The Utes went on the road and basically only this describes the game. The utes are pretty amazing, and just rolled in this game. My mother was receiving an award this day, and was at the tds game. Something like "greatest graduate from byu ever" or something. She messaged me during the game, asking me what the score of the Utah game was. It was incredible to write back that the utes had scored nearly 60 points through 3 quarters. The Utes had a 31 point run in the second quarter. It was amazing.


The awards:

• Horses envy this type of speed: Reggie Dunn (runs a 4.28 40...that's just sick).
• The Machine award: Eddie Wide (3tds on the day).
• Another day at the office award: Shaky!
• Jersey award: Brandon Burton. Guy is as good as billed.

Wyoming Game:

Game was a little ugly, but the utes still just owned the game. To tell you how good the utes are: the O-Line was upset that they gave up the first sack (by the starters) this year. That's amazing. I love that this makes them mad. Reminds me of...me and ...my dad. We were that good, only not 300+ lbs and on scholarship. Keep it up hogs.

The awards:

• Work horse award (not the reggie dunn award): Matt Asiata
• Excellent work award: Joe Phillips (despite the PAT).
• Jersey I'd buy: K Sitake (technically no jersey, but still).
