January Fun!!

We have had a busy but a fun January. Here are some of the fun things we have done!

Grandma and Grandpa had come to town for the parade and they stayed for a couple of days. Gavin had a lot of fun while they were here.

Grandpa and him became really good buddies!
Gavin loves these yellow "wet floor" signs. It was raining quite a bit and so they were everywhere. Whenever we saw one Gavin had to go and play with it.
While my mom was here we went down to the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. We happened to go on the day of the Farmers Market.

Gavin's favorite part were all the dogs that were there and the pigeons walking around the streets. He would chase them everywhere!
It was a lot of fun and the view was gorgeous!!
We had a lot of fun with Grandma and we hope she comes back soon!! (This picture was taken outside Cafe Rio in Long Beach. YUM!)
With all of the beautiful weather we have been having we have spent a lot of time at the park. Gavin absolutely loves the park.
He still hasn't quite figured out that you are supposed to go down the slides.

We finally got around to trying a new place that we saw. It is a little cafe that has homemade ice cream sandwiches. We were hoping they would compare to Diddy Riese, but unfortunately they don't. But they were still good and Gavin enjoyed his cookie.

While shopping at Santa Anita we couldn't resist taking Gavin on the Carousel. He loved it ... we think.

We have just had a lot of fun hanging out.

I didn't know there was a Cafe Rio in Long Beach! It's a drive, but if you're in the area, why not?
Seeing Gavin at the park with his ball brings back so many memories. Brady took his soccer ball everywhere the summer he was 18 months. Sigh. I'm sure you're enjoying this one-on-one time with him. It doesn't come again with your second. :(
