His mouth was all red and you can't see it but his hands are too. It was embarrassing, but it worked! He was not happy when I took them away. That was probably even more embarrassing.

How to get through a trip to Trader Joe's.
Lately I have not been able to go grocery shopping at all with Gavin. He refuses to sit in the cart and he just wants to get out. Today I decided to risk it and go to Trader Joe's. I quickly figured out a way to keep him entertained long enough to get through the shopping trip ... just give him a bag of dried strawberries and let him go at it.

This reminds me of shopping with Andrew's older brother at the same age. Entirely too used to getting his own way! Hang in there because this behavior improves over time. Just ask Katherine whether she can get Ben to go shopping with her now.
I just bought these for Shylie! She loved them. I have to say I liked them too.
