San Clemente Getaway

When Andrew's parents were in town at the beach house, we decided to take advantage of free babysitting and go on a short little getaway. It was our first night away from Gavin and while I was sad to leave him, it was great to have a night without a little one around. We dropped Gavin off at the house and headed down to San Clemente. Neither of had been there and it was a lot of fun.

Our first stop was at the Rainbow Sandals factory store. It was great and we both picked up a couple pairs of flip flops.

We then checked in to our hotel and then went to check out the city. It was a great little city with an old small town feel. We went down to the pier and walked around a little bit.

We then walked around the main part of town and found a delicious mexican restaurant to eat at for dinner. It was great to eat in peace without having to entertain Gavin the whole time.

After sleeping in the next morning we went back to Laguna to spend the day with family.

We went down to the beach and had a fun time playing in the sand.

Back at the house we had cupcakes to celebrate Grandpa's and JJ's birthdays.

JJ was nice enough to let Gavin help him open his presents.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for watching Gavin for the weekend! It was a lot of fun!!
