It was a rough start with Gavin having caught a stomach bug and throwing up on the way to the airport and on the airplane. Yuck! But he got over it quickly! We were only there for a couple of days but we had a lot of fun.
We also tried on Grandpa's shoes and tried to walk around.
We went to cousin Rachel's soccer game to cheer her on. Gavin wanted to join in on the fun.
We were able to go and visit Great Grandparents.
And we even spent some time at the Zoo!!

Gavin became really good buddies with his cousin Seth on this trip. He would get so excited every time he saw him. He just wanted to hang out with him all the time.
They even rode on matching Giraffes.
We rode the train at the end of the day. You can't tell from this picture, but Gavin loved the train!
We celebrated my birthday, a day early, while we were there. We had a bbq over at Kevin and Heather's house. Gavin was very excited to sit with the big kids at his own table.
We even had these delicious cupcakes! I think I might have sampled every single one of them.
The flight home was great, thanks to the portable dvd player that we bought for Gavin. And I was lucky enough to hold off on getting the stomach bug until the next morning!
