Food, Glorious Food! San Fran Trip: Part 2

One of my favorite things about going on vacation is eating. I love to eat out at restaurants and to try new places. Here were the highlights of the food we had in San Francisco.

At Dodgers Stadium you get a "Dodger Dog," at Giants stadium you get "Garlic Fries." We were a little hesitant to try them, but that's what they are famous for, so we had to give them a go. They weren't too bad. They were extremely garlicky, but pretty tasty.

I am not a big hot dog fan, but I think it's a rule that you have to have one at a baseball game ... and basketball game ... and a bbq. Andrew always has to get peanuts when he goes to a baseball game. He even got one with 3 peanuts in one shell!
So if you know anything about me, you know that I don't like seafood. "Fish are friends, not food." Seriously, it's not really the taste that gets me, it's mostly the texture and the fact that I am eating a fish. Andrew on the other hand is a huge seafood fan. He really wanted to go to "Scomas." It's a famous restaurant that is right on the Wharf. He warned me that it would be really fishy, but I love him so much that I decided to go anyway. I even decided to be brave and ordered fish!

I ordered the swordfish. I heard it wasn't very fishy. I am trying to like fish because I know that it is so good for you. It actually tasted pretty good, and I just had to eat it quickly before I remembered that I was actually eating fish. I was so proud of myself!

This is the breadmaker at Boudin bakery. We went there twice while we were there. They have the best sourdough breadbowls! Yummy!!
I don't like seafood ... but what about sfafood?
While we were there we definitely had to go to Ghiradelli square. I used to not be a big chocolate fan, but now I am completely addicted to dark chocolate. It's a really cool place with great chocolate sundaes. Ice cream and chocolate ... you can't go wrong!My parents got their famous classic hot fudge sundae. This was my dad's birthday treat ... only one month late! I think he enjoyed it.
Andrew and I got the intensely dark chocolate mint sundae. It was so delicious. I was definitely enjoying it (can you tell?).
This is my dad's favorite place to eat in San Francisco. My parents used to go there when they were newlyweds because it was a cheap place to get a great steak!
