... Dennis Haysbert! Some of you may know him as President Palmer, others might recognize him as Jonas "Snake Doctor" Blane, and there are some of you that might only know him as the Allstate commercial guy. I know, and love him, as all three!
I'm easily starstruck and tonight was no exception. Too bad I wasn't able to stop and say hello. I only recognized him after he had walked past me. And how did I recognize him? Yep, it was his deep resounding voice. (gets me everytime!)
Let me take this opportunity to make a plug for his great show "The Unit." Andrew and I started watching this show last year and we are hooked! It's one of the only shows that Andrew and I enjoy watching together (besides The Hills of course!) It's got enough action for Andrew and enough drama for me. It also stars Scott Foley, who I love from his "Felicity" days. You should check it out sometime!

Wow, so fun to have a celeb sighting in little old Pasadena!! And I love that guy - he's President Palmer for me! Matt is a huge fan of The Unit - I'll have to tell him you saw that guy. I personally don't like The Unit because I think all the women characters and storylines are super obnoxious and bad actors. :) Don't hate me. But I like the men portion of the show.

He works out at the gym where I train. He seems to be a pretty nice guy from what I observe of him - he's also in really good shape!!
