Happy Valentines Day 2009!

We had a great Valentines Day this year. The picture above was a gift from a friend. The "Too Sweet" bracelet was obviously for me, and the "Little Devil" for Andrew.

This year I made sugar cookies for Andrew. I thought they turned out pretty good. These ones actually weren't for Andrew because he prefers them plain, with no frosting (boring!)

We decided to keep things low key this year. We stayed home and Andrew made a delicious dinner of butternut squash soup and cheese bread.
We then watched a movie and ate dessert, brownies and ice cream. It was delicious!

It was a very happy Valentines Day!

Awww, so tender! I can't believe Andrew likes sugar cookies with nothing on them. I am the queen of boring food and even I think that's boring. :)

Thanks Laney. Maybe I just enjoy the pure essence of Diane's cooking, did you consider that? No need to hide the true deliciousness. Her cookies are just that good. Plus the milk doesn't get all pink and goopy.

Staying home is the best, it is too crazy to go out on Vday!!!

Wes doesn't like frosting on his sugar cookies either! That's funny.
