Yesterday while I was volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages, Sam, the manager, asked me if I wanted to try the new tea that we were going to be selling. He said that I could make it iced tea, which he thought would make it okay for me to drink. This led to a very interesting discussion about our religious beliefs and in particular the Word of Wisdom. While explaining to him that we could drink some "hot drinks" I couldn't remember the name of the drink, postum, and so I went home and searched on the internet to find it.
While searching, I found this interesting article, "Why Mormons Don't Drink Coffee or Tea." It was pretty funny (although not entirely accurate). I found this part particularly interesting: "Mormons also favor the following drinks served both warm and cold: herbal tinctures, milk, and non-alcoholic apple drinks. They also enjoy Italian sodas, fruit drinks, and milkshakes. "
I'm glad that we can have milkshakes. I like milkshakes.

Hey, what photographer took that picture of you and Andrew in front of the bear. Fantastic shot. You should refer more business to him!
Italian Soda's??? Random:)
that was a good article. I am setting my blog to private, so could you send me your email address so I can add you? Thanks!

That is too funny. I'm really glad to have that cleared up, cuz I was starting to wonder if my milkshake addiction was unhealthy. Perhaps not.
Adam has had all kinds of fun trying to set the tea question straight. In his world travels, it is so socially embedded that if you get pulled over by a cop, he offers you a cup of tea first. Funny.
Love the purse in the picture, Andrew!
