Friday night we went with a group of the other swim coaches to one of our favorite places, Los Gringos. We hadn't been there for a long time, so it was fun to finally go out and celebrate with the coaches again.
The next day was my actual birthday. I had to wake up early and go to a swim meet. I then rushed straight from the swim meet to our Primary activity. It was a great activity. Afterwards Andrew took me shopping. I told him that what I wanted for my birthday was for him to just take me shopping all day. And he did! It was a lot of fun and I found a few cute new pairs of shoes! That night we went to my favorite place, BJ's, wish our friends Dave and Brittany. They have the best pizza and you also get a free pizookie on your birthday. We went there last year for my birthday too.
It was delicious!
And a lot of fun! Dave and Brittany gave me the first season of "Friday Night Lights." So we are excited to watch that.
The next day Andrew made me my birthday dinner and these cupcakes.
He also gave me these beautiful roses.
It was the perfect birthday! Thank you to all of you for making it so wonderful.

I like last year's birthday a LOT better, but only because we were there. It sounds like you had fun after all your responsibilities were finished. I was wondering if you guys ever go to Los Gringos anymore. I bet once you went back you remembered how much you missed that guacamole. I called it on the cupcakes, and Funfetti to boot. Andrew went all out! Not many guys would take their wives shopping all day.
