Best Brunch Ever!

While we were down in San Diego a few weekends ago with the Jarvis family, we went to Coronado. I had never been there before, but had always heard about the fabulous Hotel Del Coronado from Annette. She loves the hotel and so Joe finally relented and agreed that we could go there for their delicious brunch buffet.

We crossed the bridge and headed into Coronado.

It's a cute little town that I would love to go back and explore sometime.
And we finally arrived at the Hotel Del.
It is absolutely beautiful!

The brunch room was amazing.
Andrew's cousin Jason joined us for the day.
This brunch had absolutely everything you could imagine. All of the breakfast goods: muffins, eggs, sausage, bacon, omelets, paninis, eggs benedict, yogurt, fruit. It also had prime rib, turkey, roast beef, macaroni and cheese, salads, soups, pastas, cheese fondue, bread, and so much more. They also had the most amazing dessert bar. EVERYTHING you could ever want.

I had the chocolate soup. I have never tasted anything so divine.
I finished with this plate of goodness.
We left there completely full and satisfied!

I had high expectations for the Hotel Del because I had heard so much about it, and it definitely met and exceeded all expectations!
