Thanksgiving Point Gardens

I have been to Thanksgiving Point a few times, but I have never been to their gardens, so last week Andrew and I went there with my parents to check it out. It was absolutely beautiful. I wasn't sure we were going to find anything because you have to drive way back behind everything else to find it and seems like such a dry dusty area. But they have done so many amazing things there! It was a really fun day. Here are a bunch of the pictures we saw there. (I can't get them to format the way I want to, so they are all over the place, sorry!)

Andrew was really sweet and carried my purse, water bottle and held the umbrella to shade us from the hot sun!
They had these great ponds with lily pads. I had never seen them before.
They also had a bunch of fish. They all attacked each other when we fed them their food.
They also have the largest man made waterfall in North America. It's pretty impressive.

If you ever get a chance to go see the gardens I definitely recommend it.

My friend had her wedding reception in those gardens and it really is beautiful there. I've heard they have a tulip festival in early spring, but I've never been.

Love your photos!

Have you been to the Arboetum or Descanso Gardens here in LA? They are both great! We're members, we should go sometime.
