3 months!! Really??!! I can't believe she is already 3 months old!
Avery is becoming such a sweet and happy girl. We love every minute we have with her.
This month was a great one, with a few new adventures for Avery.
She started making new funny faces.
She sleeps in really weird positions. I don't know how she keeps her neck up like that!
We love all of the chubbiness.
More funny faces.
She loves hanging out with Dad and Gavin!
Getting so big!!
More uncomfortable sleeping positions!
She loves bath time! She loves just relaxing in the water and watching Gavin. He is really sweet with her and wants to help give her baths by pouring water on her. He also likes to use her as a prop and put whatever he can on her head as her hat.
Avery chose her school of choice ...
She met her Aunt Peej!!
Other things about month 3:
- She is sleeping about the same as before. She doesn't sleep any longer at night or even during naps. She wakes up twice a night to eat and goes right back to sleep. Not bad. Her naps are all over the place, but I haven't really tried to put her on a schedule at all. Maybe in a month or so.
- She still loves to be held all of the time. She will occasionally sit in her swing, chair or on her playmat. But it doesn't last long.
- Her eating is a lot better. She had a few rough days there when I posted last month. After a few suggestions from friends, I looked in to her possibly having a dairy allergy. I was going to try to limit dairy from my diet to see if it got better, but then she started acting fine and the screaming/fussing during and after eating stopped. I was so happy!! I love my dairy! It is still frustrating sometimes though because just when I feel like we get in to a routine she changes things up. She was only eating one side each feeding, then a week ago she started wanting both at each feeding. And now she will barely eat on the right side. Oh well. I have just realized that she will do whatever she wants and I have to go along with it!!
- She is getting stronger every day. She loves to stand on her feet. She has really good control of her head and neck.
- She had her first trip to Disneyland!
- She now hates being in her carseat. As soon as we put her in she starts fussing. While driving in the car she just screams and screams. It doesn't matter what we do, she just keeps screaming. It's really frustrating and makes us not want to go anywhere! By the time we get to where we are going she is so worked up and is all sweaty.
- She drools a lot!
- She has so much personality! She laughs, smiles, coos, and is starting to babble a little bit. She really responds to facial expressions and when you talk to her. It is so much fun when they start to react to you!
- She loves Gavin. She will watch him and smile at him. He is also starting to like her more too.
- She has discovered her feet and loves to grab on to them when she can.
Here is the 3 month collage. I was actually late at getting this post done because I didn't know how to do the collage. The program I used before (Picnik) closed and I don't know where or how to do it now. This is one I found but I don't like it because I can't put the text on the pictures or anything. If you know of something better, let me know!
Anyway, I don't really feel like she looks that much bigger from month 2 to 3. Maybe more round in the face?
