We had a great Easter this year. My mom had sent out some Easter outfits for the kids, but the dress for Avery was a little big. So I made her a really simple little dress with a matching headband. I tried to take some pictures, but she wasn't very excited about it.
We tried to get a good family picture but this is the best that we could do. I didn't realize that the shade and sun was so splotchy.
The Easter Bunny slept in this year and didn't come until after nap time. But luckily he brought a pink bucket for Avery and an orange one for Gavin! Grandma and Grandpa also sent a fun turtle basket with lots of fun things for Gavin.
Gavin went straight for the candy.
Gavin and Betsy then had a little egg hunt in the backyard.
These eggs didn't have any candy in them. Gavin kept shaking every single one of them, hoping that there were treats inside. I think he was a little disappointed.
We had a delicious dinner with the Eckersley's and Caitlin. Afterwards we all just hung out and Betsy and Gavin found a comfortable place on the love sac.
It reminded us of a similar scene from Easter last year.
These kids are really going to miss each other!!
