We went to this little place called Tropicool. It was so good. It is italian ice on the bottom and then soft serve ice cream on the top. It was really delicious. It's probably good that I don't live there or I would go there way too much.
We drove past this sign and I thought it was pretty funny. Hopefully you can read the small writing.
We went to Lexington Market. It was pretty interesting.
funny sign:
Andrew tried their famous crab cakes and he said they were delicious!
We spent an afternoon walking around Baltimore. It was raining, but it was still fun. We saw this beautiful Cathedral
And we saw the original Washington Monument. This was the first one built and then they designed the one in D.C. after this one. You could climb up to the very top and take a look. Andrew, Hillary and JJ all took the trek up the steps but I stayed at the bottom and waited. (I had already learned the hard way that when it's raining, pregnant people should be extra careful while walking down granite steps ... I think Baltimore might have a lawsuit on their hands!)
View from the top:

We stopped at the Maryland Historical Museum and took pictures of these great army jeeps for my dad!

We walked past this sign and thought it was hilarious. They had clearly just dug up a tree, but they left the sign there which says: "This Elm has watched the growth of Baltimore Towne for over 100 years ... famous world visitors have passed beneath it's protecting branches." Apparently it wasn't THAT important!
We ate lunch at this delicious cute little cafe, Sascha's.
And we had a fun time just hanging out with everyone!
What a fun trip! Thanks Josh, Hillary, and JJ for letting us stay with you and for showing us around Baltimore!
