Merry Christmas 2011!

Christmas picture and video overload!!

Gavin let us sleep in on Christmas morning until about 8:00. I hope that it stays that way every year!! We went upstairs and took a picture by the Christmas tree.

Then we got ready to go in to the living room to see what Santa had brought for Gavin!  He didn't want to go in at first, but then he realized that it was definitely worth his time!

Thanks to the Jarvises, Santa was very generous to Gavin!! He must have been a good boy this year!  A couple days before Christmas, Gavin had sat on Santa's lap and asked for a dump truck, so he was excited to see his dump truck there waiting for him!

All this is for me??

A ball!

I love his face here!
Checking out the dump truck.

He insisted on carrying all of the balls at once.
Going through his stocking.
We then went and opened presents under the tree.

Giving Margaret a thank you hug!

Gavin got some really cool puzzles that he loves playing with.

And a really cool race car. He immediately decided that the blue car was "Daddy" and the purple one was "Mommy."
Gavin then opened up one his most exciting gifts ...

Baseball!

Big hugs for Grandma and Grandpa.

Gavin then practiced his baseball skills.

After opening presents we all got ready and went to church. The choir was great and it was a wonderful meeting.

After church we went back to the Jarvises for awhile so we could let Gavin nap. We were also to talk to Ben and Katherine on Skype. We then packed up and headed down to Orem. We got there and had a delicious Christmas dinner. Gavin wanted to go downstairs to play but we couldn't let anyone downstairs yet! After dinner we all got ready to go downstairs to open gifts!

This video is funny because instead of Gavin being excited about all the presents that were downstairs, he was really upset that the basketball hoop that had been there all week was gone. He kept saying "all gone."

We then had a great time opening gifts and watching everyone else open their gifts.

Gavin was very excited about this next gift!

A fire truck!!

As always, it was a really busy day! But it was a wonderful Christmas! It's always hectic trying to fit in time with both families but it is worth it. There is no better way to celebrate Christmas than to spend time with family. We are so grateful that we have the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Everyone was so generous to us and we feel so blessed.
