Fun with Grandma: November 2011

I really want to catch up completely on my blog posts. I pretty much need to go back to June, or even further!! I am going to start from the back though. I have all of December done so here we go with November!!

Grandma came to visit in November. She came the day after Thanksgiving. We had a great time and did a lot of fun things!

The night she came in they had a Holiday celebration in Old Town Pasadena. Dave, Brittany and Betsy all joined us! They had this cute little train where you could get free train rides. Gavin was in heaven!

They also brought in snow and reindeer!

Gavin was very interested in the snow!

Later that weekend we went to the Getty museum. It was a gorgeous day and we had fun walking around.

There were some amazing views that day of the LA area.

They had a fun kids area for Gavin.

We had heard about Travel Town but had never made it there. Once Gavin became obsessed with trains, we knew we had to check it out.

They had  fun train ride. Can you tell that Gavin is excited?

We then walked around and looked at all the old trains.

We were also able to go check out the zoo. This was the only picture I got from that day. But Gavin loved seeing all of the animals.

We spent one morning in Montrose. It is such a cute little town. They were also having a Holiday celebration so we were lucky to stumble on some fun activities.  Gavin did a little reading while I shopped at one of my favorite baby stores.

They then had a free horse drawn carriage ride.

They also had free pony rides. Gavin loved it!

They had brought in snow the night before, but most of it had melted.

Santa Claus was walking around the streets, so Gavin had his first opportunity to sit on his lap.
