My swim team wanted to host a baby shower for me. Because I coach the 10 and under boys, I wasn't sure how much they would enjoy it, but I guess if you use the word party and have treats, they are up for anything!
They decorated really cute with these pink polka dot and yellow ducks! (I really wanted one of the ducks, but all the swimmers took them!)

| Do not let their sweet faces deceive you!! They are a handful! |
 |
| Only half of my group was there. I have about 35 boys. |
 |
| Nice belly shot. |

| I had Andrew bring Gavin so he could enjoy the fun. Luckily Suzanne, the mom who used to watch him for me everyday, was there to help him out. |

| He loved the cupcake, well, at least the frosting. |
They had me open my gifts while everyone was there. I didn't think that the boys would be very interested in it, but they surprisingly were. I think they really liked watching me open the gift that they gave me. They seemed so proud when I would tell them how much I liked it.

The McCrary's (I have coached their older boy and now have their younger boy) were so sweet and brought a gift for Gavin. So we let him open it and it was a dump truck!! If you didn't know, that is the perfect gift for him. So he was entertained the rest of the time with that.
Everyone was so generous and I got a lot of really cute outfits, a few blankets, some toys, bath stuff and a rocker/sleeper.
This is the wonderful lady that planned the whole thing. She is great! I have learned a lot from her how to be a good "swim mom."
This past season has been the most difficult one for me with swim team. There were some changes made and some other circumstances that almost led me to quitting back in September. But I stuck through it and have tried to make the most of it. I won't say that I absolutely love my job, but I enjoy it and I am learning a lot from it. Part of me will miss being there everyday with them, and it will be a tough decision to figure out when or if I am going back. This team has been a part of our family and it always will be. I am so grateful for everything they have done for me.

That is so nice of them!! How fun.
That really is so generous, but I'm sure they appreciate all you've done to teach their boys.
You have been there so long! Didn't you start at the Rose Bowl in 2007? Wow, 5 years is way longer than any job I've ever had.
That was so cute to see you opening baby gifts surrounded by little boys. That's so sweet. I didn't know you had work drama! What were the "circumstances"?
