While my family was in town last month Gavin wanted to show them one of his favorite places, Travel Town! He was very excited to see all of the trains and to go for a ride!

Avery hung out in her stroller the whole time. I guess she doesn't quite understand how exciting trains can be.
After we went to Travel Town we went out to West Hollywood. My dad has always been a big fan of the Dole pineapple whips at Disneyland. I found this place that just opened up that serves them as well as other flavors. We even found a "living social" deal so we got a great deal on them. For the last 3 months my parents have been on a diet and they have lost so much weight! My dad has lost about 65 pounds and my mom has lost 30!! I am so proud of them. I could barely recognize my dad when he showed up at my door!! They haven't been able to have any yummy treats since they started their diet, so this was a special cheat for them to have this ice cream. I think it was worth every calorie!
