4 months old today!
17 lbs. 5 oz. (90th percentile!)
Things about our 4 month old:
- Rolls over from front to back (three times already).
- Very good head strength/control (Doc said it is like a 6 month old)
- Loves his bath time. Likes to splash in the water.
- Hates to get dressed.
- Loves his feet. He grabs them whenever he sees them and holds on to them constantly.
- Does not like to ride in the car, but is learning to be okay in the car seat in the stroller.
- Occasionally sleeps 6-7 1/2 hours at night (not consistently, and not all in his own bed).
- Loves to suck on his hands. He can even put both of them in his mouth at the same time.
- Drools a lot.
- Does not take regular good naps.
- Will sit in his swing sometimes for about 10 minutes (but what a wonderful 10 minutes!)
- Likes to sit in his bumbo if I am there to talk to him.
- Still likes to be held 98% of the time. Most of the time if I try to put him down then he fusses and sometimes screams. So he is usually held by me or Andrew all day long.
- Will not go to sleep on his own. Must be rocked (very vigorously) to sleep every time.
- LOVES his pacifier, but can't keep it in on his own.
It has definitely been the craziest 4 months of our lives. Things have changed in ways that we would never have imagined. Having this baby is probably one of the most difficult things that I have ever done, but he is so much fun and we love having him in our lives.

MAN he is cute. I can't believe four months already!! Time flies! And I am super-impressed that he can fit almost both fists in his mouth at once, that is going to be VERY useful in future talent shows.

I was going to say the same thing about his baby cleavage! Love it. He already looks different from when I saw him at Christmas!
Great job on keeping a defenseless human alive for 4 months now! Moms are impressive.
Just know all babies are not like this, and your next one will be SOOOO easy!!! He is sure a cutie though:) Being a mom is TOUGH, but your doing great, keep it up, it'll get better:)

I'm sorry you are having such a tough time getting him to sleep on his own. We struggle with that a bit too. One of the things I've tried that works is swaddling. I just do his arms though, so he won't jerk himself awake, and he doesn't notice it as much when I put him down.
