Today we met some friends at the park for a little picnic and Easter Egg hunt. Gavin was very excited to hang out with his little buddies. He sat there patiently waiting for them all to come.
Everyone came and he had a lot of little buddies to play with.
It's so much fun to have friends with little ones the same age. There were a lot of women pregnant in my ward at the same time so it was exciting while we were pregnant and fun now to see all the babies. Next to Gavin is Lilian's little boy Everett. Then there is Mirene, Yuka's little girl. How cute is she in those little bunny ears? Wes is 8 months old and is always keeping Gavin entertained during church. I keep hoping that Wes will teach Gavin to crawl, but so far it's not working very well.
It was the perfect day for a picnic.
We then got all the big kids all lined up and ready for their Easter Egg hunt. It was Lauren's birthday today so she was all dressed up and ready to celebrate in her cute tutu. They were excited and ready to go!

June and Soren looked under bushes and trees ...
... Carly and Lauren ran around corners ...
... and Abby helped June run through the open fields ...
... and I think they were all very successful.
We had a great time at the park, even though we may appear a little grumpy here. I feel so blessed to have such great friends to get together with and I know Gavin will love having friends around too.

Looks a little warmer there, we almost froze to death at our easter egg hunt!
I'm glad you're enjoying play dates now. I can't believe how old Jocelyn's girls are now! Abbey looks more like Lance now but I think Carly totally looks like her. It was fun to see photos of those little cuties. Did you color your hair to match Gavin's so people didn't think you'd kidnapped him? haha
