Avery's Adventures: Month 5

Avery just keeps getting bigger and more fun!

She is definitely starting to move around a lot more. It made this photo shoot a little bit more difficult!

Gavin, of course, wanted in on the action.

There really isn't a lot of new things that Avery did this month. But here are a few:

• Rolling over. She started rolling over from her back to her stomach. She then figured out how to go back on to her back.

• She is happier on her stomach then she used to be. She will hang out there for awhile before getting upset.

• She is only eating one time in the night now. She will now go about 8 hours without a feeding in the night.

• I think we have finally figured out the whole feeding thing. There are times when she just doesn't eat that much but she is happy and seems to get enough. Otherwise she is a really fast eater, which is nice.

• Still dislikes the car seat. A lot.

• She is getting very good at grabbing things. If you give her a toy she will hold on to it pretty well.

• We can put her down awake and she will do a pretty good job of falling asleep on her own. She does really well at night, but struggles a little during the day.

• Her eyes are definitely changing color. I'm not sure if they will go dark brown like Gavin's, but they are not going to be blue.

I feel like the 3, 4 and 5 month pictures all look the same. I guess she isn't changing too much!
