Knotts Berry Farm with the Jarvis Fam!

The Jarvis family all came in to town late on Friday night for Avery's blessing. Since we had been with my family all week, we were going to spend the day with the Jarvis family. We were celebrating Margaret's birthday and she wanted to go to Knotts Berry Farm. Yes, this means that it was our 6th day at an amusement park. But we were very excited because we both love Knotts!! 

We were nervous that we weren't going to be able to go because Gavin was not feeling well. But he woke up on Saturday morning feeling just fine and had no fever! Yay!!

As soon as we got there I had to go and feed Avery. They said they had baby care centers throughout the park so I went to find one. What I found was a little shack with no air conditioner, a few open windows, lots of flies and an old wooden rocking chair. Yuck. It was hot and stuffy and disgusting. It made me miss Disneyland's plush baby care center!!   While I fed Avery, everyone else checked out Camp Snoopy!

Grandma had brought Gavin this fun gun that lit up. He carried it around all day and found many opportunities to use it.

Margaret, Hillary, Josh, Andrew and I left to go on some of the bigger rides. We had a fun time. I love roller coasters!! We went on one of the newer rides which was these really high swings. It was a little crazy being up that high and mostly I didn't like the wind blowing. My favorite one was the Xcelerator. It's a pretty crazy ride and I was excited that Margaret was willing to go on it with me!! I love having a roller coaster buddy!!

While we did that, everyone else went for a ride on the stage coach.

We met up after the stage coach and we all went on the mining tour/ride together.

We went to the chicken dinner place for Margaret's birthday lunch!! The same hostess that was there from the night when we went with my family was there again. She must have thought we were crazy to come back within just a couple of days (and with an entirely different family)!  When I went with my family I actually only got soup and salad. This time around, I went for the whole dinner!! Delicious!

Gavin decided he wanted to try and drink his ice cream rather than eat it. (notice how upset Avery was about this.)

It was a fun day of celebrating Margaret's birthday. We were glad that we got to spend the day with the Jarvis family. It was a great end to our week of amusement parks!
